For the full range on the gear shift: Odd mapping 1 =1 2=3 3=5 4=7 5=9 6=11 Even mapping 1=2 2=4 3=6 4=8 5=10 6=12 This in any case is what you have when you set up the gearbox with a splitter

Re: Xbox controller H-shifter. I tried the toggle function but every time you want to shift to a new gear you need to select the currect gear before to untoggle it each time or the game gets all confused. There would have to be a function that overides previous toggles in order for that to work. Set by phpBB, used for the "remember me" option.

works great and is easy to setup and use - my only real issue is that when used on the logitech shifter the screws that fasten it against the metal shifter do not line up 100% on the flat side of the stick - this means it can twist a bit when using but certainly not a show stopper nor a nuisance - would still buy again

Hey, i hope i don't annoy you guys with this questions. First of all, i have a problem setting it up on my table. There are way to many cables that get crushed i feel like (i gave it a 1cm space between the tableborder). You need to map your buttons to shift-up and shift-down, not to the actual gears; those mappings are for h-shifters which "hold" the press when placed into a gear. #1.
It seems like you should just have to assign the paddles to shifting up and down and set it to real automatic. You can also assign a button to switch between sequential and automatic (only those 2 though). I use a TEI steering wheel with paddles and it works fine. Just set to sequential in the options menu.
